I have Legends, Armored Princess, and Crossworlds. I've heard that armored princess is in crossworlds, so, I assume that I don't actually need to play Armored Princess by itself. I don't know if Legends is within Crossworlds, though, so, I'm not sure if I should play Crossworlds and Legends seperately.

I know the release dates of each, but, as I don't have every Kings Bounty game, is there any other order I should play them in to get the most out of them? Thank you very much. Katauri Interactive didn't make that mistake with The Legend but they did make Armoured Princess a much harder game. Watching and waiting, looking above Thanks everybody, and thanks Psalm Actually I'm an old school JRPG fan who rarely enjoys western titles, so what you said about this game just encouraged me to jump straight into it : I've had the habit of playing on hard mode first for a long time now and I've never regret it : The past can bind a man as surely as irons.

Put like that, it seems that Armoured Princess is your game, alright! I've been gaming for many a year and note that difficulty in games is still a big problem. Some say that modern gamers shy away from tougher games and they could be right.

I hate overly tough boss battles and think the concept of boss levels has replaced boss battles. User Info: nirual. There are difficulty settings for a reason. Legend ranged from very easy to kinda hard, AP ranges from somewhat easy to very hard. Heroes V was pretty similiar in that aspect between the main game and the standalone expansion, and I hated how reviews slammed it just for being more challenging despite the gameplay being so much improved in both cases.

If anything, they didn't do too great of a job preparing complete newcomers to the series. It starts out easy to let veterans get used to the big changes, then it becomes pretty challenging without much of a warning.

The best example of this I found to be the pirate ships on the second island, compared to those in Legend which weren't agressive until you talked with them and refused to pay up.

In general, there seem to be a lot more enemy heroes about in AP, and they are all pretty though. You make good points. Game difficulty and story in games are two of my "hotly contested" topics and it is hard to find common ground among gamers on both subjects.

Some think stories in games are for sissies and hard gameplay is the main deal. They will have a great time with games developed in Eastern Europe, as that's the way they make their games. The Stalker games are an interesting case in point, where the story it truly sub-porn flick and the gameplay often, but not always brutal.
