Worx trivac where to buy

The right extension cord will ensure you get the performance you expect and will extend the life of your blower. The WG is a 12A tool, so check for gauge and length on the grid, or in your manual.

Your local hardware or garden supply store will be happy to help you select the right cord to meet your needs. Horsepower rating is more accurately used to describe gas-powered tools. With a max airflow of cfm, the Worx TRIVAC has the power to get the job done, whether the job is vacuuming fallen leaves, sweeping out the garage or drying off your car after washing it.

Fit the wider end of the tube over the front of the motor housing, lining up the pegs on the motor housing to the channels on the nozzle See Figure B in the manual. Roll the nozzle channel over the peg and snap the top of the nozzle into the handle. Press the black button at the front of the top handle and pull the handle forward, away from the nozzle.

Separating the motor and nozzle makes the tool more compact for transport or easy storage in tight spaces. If you need to further disassemble the nozzle, find the grooved indentation on each side of the nozzle. Press down hard on these while pushing the seam against a hard surface. It is difficult to separate, but can be done if necessary.

Line up these pegs with the channels in the orange collar of the collection bag. Blow the leaves into a pile, then flip the orange switch on the shaft just above the collection bag, and vacuum them up. You can download the manual here. Our friendly customer service team will be glad to answer any questions you may have at WORX.

The Worx TRIVAC Electric Leaf Blower is double-insulated to prevent shock, but we recommend that our customers follow standard safety precautions while using our tools, including wearing safety eyewear, gloves, appropriate shoes and clothing, and keeping hair tied back.

For optimum performance, be sure to allow for proper airflow when vacuuming. When switching from blowing to mulching, be sure the impeller has stopped before opening the protective screen to attach the collection bag. Hold the blower at your side and keep the bottom of the motor housing clear at all times. View more information here. How do you switch between the functions? Can I vacuum wet leaves? Does this tool come with a battery and a charger? Worse is when mulch gets stuck and shuts the blade down this happened to me 3 times in an hour--I had to unscrew the nozzle each time and use a pair of plyers to free the blade.

Even very brittle mulch seems to cause problems. I don't really see the WG as a solution for a whole yard. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: Refurbished. I have owned this product for about six weeks and used it about as many times. I have found it to be quite useful and overall I am happy with my purchase. I choose this model because it seems to be the top of Worx product line and the design allows you to go from blower to vac with a simple turn of a knob and don't forget the METAL impellar.

Wet leaves require frequent unclogging. I had to develop a couple of techniques to reduce the frequency of clogging. I found blower function to be some what difficult to control and did not produce as strong an air stream as I was expecting mph? I think the vac exhaust produces a stronger air stream and sometimes use that instead now if I could only find a attachment to extend it.

In fact, I have never used the small collection bag that comes free with the WG It's just to small for my needs. Like I said overall, I'm happy with it and hopefully will continue to use it for many years to come but still I'd like to try out the Black and Decker UltraPlus model just to see Verified purchase: Yes Condition: New.

The design of the Trivac, though techie, is not optimum. There is no way to separate the vacuum nozzle from the blower nozzle, and the blower is hidden under the much larger vacuum nozzle when you are using it. It also adds to the weight. Switching between vacuum and blower is a trivial flip of a valve handle.

The variable motor speed settings are useful and a nice feature. The mulcher is very good. As a yard vacuum, I rate this tops. It is less than tops as a leaf blower compared with the Toro of the same 12 amp rating. I bought one of these years ago and it has the old plastic impeller which starts to wear down over time and you slowly loose power.

I feel that WORX should do something to help us buyers of the old version get replacement impellers. Skip to main content. About this product.
